Software Engineer

• Led a full redesign and rebuild of the company marketing site in Astro, owning design, custom animations and graphics, SEO, and analytics integration end-to-end.
• Designed and developed a partnership integration system end-to-end (Next.js, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL), including API routes and scalable database schemas, driving a 10%+ increase in conversion.
• Built and maintained production Next.js frontends, owning UI/UX design, resolving bugs, and improving performance and long-term maintainability.

Software Engineer, Associate

• Built out and took ownership of a dynamic, self-service front-end (React.js, TypeScript) for users to manage and interact with their data. This allowed users to choose on their own what to add, edit, delete, etc. and reduced manual work for our team.
• Converted the front-end deployment to a docker container on the AWS ECS Cluster.
• Wrote in-depth unit tests (Jest in TypeScript) for the entire front-end project. Updated team standards to ensure that unit tests are written for each merge/pull request, when applicable.
• Created an REST API using Python to supply the data for the front-end mentioned above.
• Developed a project with GoLang that collects metrics from InfluxDB and performs a variety of functions on them such as receiving the cardinality and cleaning measurement names.
• Used ElasticSearch to populate components for a clients’ website and allow complex searching for users.
• Created and designed mockups for a completely overhauled ERP software UI in Figma.

• Updated team content and QA the corporate website daily.
• Prepared mobile app in-game modules, including a matching game and player trivia using an online app manager tool.
